Audry@Castaways

I found the inspiration I needed in creating the Castaways logo in this sweet doggy face. Meet Leo. He is my grandog, and he goes just about everywhere with me meeting and greeting. When I tell him to "say hi, Leo", he starts wagging his tail and getting friendly with folks. A good game of ball or giving him treats is a surefire way to his heart. Grandog love is very real :)

I have 2 kids, both grown and doing their own adult thing. Travis is a drafter/designer at an electrical engineering firm in Austin, and Deyton works for an eye doctor and is a personal fitness trainer. She's the big sister and Travis the little brother, but he's 6'4".....we call him The Little-Big. When times allow, they assist at some of our larger sales. As far as I am concerned they run the show. They both went to work at a young age serving the public, and they have incredible people skills. Professional, polite, and on their A game, I couldn't be more proud!

And then there is me. Two of my customers, Susan and Ron, took this picture one day after a very inspiring conversation we had. The proof is in the picture....When you surround yourself with good people, who have a positive outlook on life, they tend to bring out the best in you. I am always grateful to those who can sprinkle a little of their sunshine in my life. Lord knows we could all use it on some of our more challenging days.

I am an expert dish-stacker. I've never owned a dishwasher in my life, and believe me when I say there is an art to stacking dishes in the drainer when you have a lot. I'm a master at this. I don't know how exactly I came to be able to do it, but I just can. And why am I telling you this? I'm good at my job.

I've been buying and selling since Travis was in diapers. I've even bought, remodeled, and sold houses. I don't pretend to know it all, nor am I an expert at anything. However, I've had years of practice through trial and error, and organizing, staging, and selling are 3 things I can do.

I ask myself these questions after every sale:

Are my clients 100% satisfied? Did I meet every one of their needs?

Did I represent their estate in a manner they could be proud of?

Was there anything else I could have done to make this sale better?

Were my customers happy, and did I do my best to make sure each and every one of them left with at least one treasure?

The absolute best client service is always my #1 goal. And goal #2, is to provide the same to my customers. I encourage anyone looking to hire an estate sale company to shop around first, as you would with any service provider. Find the one who meets YOUR needs. Just maybe....Castaways will be the one for you :)

Until we meet,

Audry
